Can't log in my blog

  • I started a new blog on WP.com and tried to link it to my established WP.org blog.
    Every time I try to log in to my old blog the WP.org log in page reverts to a WP.com log in and tells me I have the wrong username and password.
    I have exhausted all my ideas. Looking for some new ones.
    Not sure what version of WP I’m using.

  • You need to have your new self-hosted blog resolve in DNS – (This can also be a local issue, flush DNS and clear your browser cache) – Consult with .com on moving to .org…and also with your new webhost…

    Sorry to say no.
    I changed the URL on my old blog to my new one thinking it would just forward to my new blog, which it does. But I have no idea how to access my old blog. Every time I try to log in at WP.org it gives me a incorrect username message and forwards the page to WP.com log in page.

    I changed the theme on my web site and now when I go to the site I have no button to log in as administrator and cannot add posts etc.
