Can’t log in, keep getting blank pages. Help!

  • I have not been able to fully access my admin panel since this afternoon. That is, I can’t log in the normal way, through https://www.icelandweatherreport.com/wp-admin, I just get a blank page. I CAN go in through my site in the comments section on the ‘logged in as’ link, which allows me to access my profile in the admin section, and all of the dashboard except the ‘design’ section – that just takes me to a blank page. When I write a comment on my own site and press ‘publish’ I also get the blank page. I’ve tried to log in with Explorer and get the WP login page, but when I’ve entered my name and password I get a message that the site cannot be displayed.

    I also tried to log in to the support forums in Firefox but can’t log in there either – when I press login, the details I just entered disappear and are replaced with the previous details. I’ve asked to have my password reset, and receive the reset email, but when I press the link to log in, I get the blank page.

    Also, people have been telling me that my site’s been down, although I’ve been able to see it whenever I log on.

    What’s going on?? Please help!!

    Hello? Is there really no one who can help me with this??
    It’s been 11 hours and still no change.

    I’ve also been unable to log into the forums using Firefox, despite having my password reset, etc. etc. I manage to log in using Explorer.

    Is this normal? or is it just me…?

    Just thought I’d post about the solution to this problem for anyone who, like me, is desperately looking for support. I did a few google search variations on this issue and found that there were a number of people who had experienced the same thing, were completely confused and frustrated, and received no feedback here in the forums.

    As it turns out, it was a problem with the apache server – I had to contact the help desk of my ISP, who restarted apache, and that solved the problem.
