• This cropped up at the end of my first test drive of the Automatic Upgrade plugin. On reflection, I decided it’s more likely to be a WordPress 2.6 problem.

I can no longer log in as admin using Opera (v. 9.26). If I fill in the correct username and password, it just sits on the login screen. If I deliberately give it an incorrect password or username, it correctly warns me that they are incorrect. Clicking the “forgot your password?” link does nothing (I’ve verified that the admin email address I gave is a good address).

Please help me, I’m stuck in Explorer. It smells like Bill Gates in here. Bill Gates and despair.

Shoot. Good suggestion, but it isn’t working. I’ve tried several times (Opera crapped out a couple of those times, possibly because I tried to close the browser before it was done). I’ll give it a rest for today and try again tomorrow.

    Thanks for chiming in.

Remove your Opera installation and re-install it. That should sort it out. It is a browser issue otherwise IE wouldn’t work either.
