Cant log in as admin, after instalation

    pass recovery dont work

    If you have access to your web server’s mysql database or file system (via FTP or whatever file management tool your host provides you with) then you can reset your password.

    I’m personally fond of this method myself. If you do use that method, please make sure you make a backup copy of any file before you modify it.

    Yes, many people don’t have access or don’t know how to access their database. That’s why this method is what I recommend.

    All you need to do is locate the theme’s functions.php file, make a one line addition (make a backup first) and that usually gets your password reset.

    What’s your WordPress URL?

    Edit: If your installation is the same as in your profile, this is the file you want to modify.

    /home/pictor/project/wp-content/themes/MagPress/functions.php

    Please make sure you make a backup copy before you edit that file.
