• If you use the “Maintenance” mode, you can’t log back in again. Even though the admin page. You have to disable the plugin via FTP to login and disable the Maintenance Mode. It needs a login box for admins. Damn stupid design.

Thank you for your 2 star review ??

If you use the “Maintenance” mode, you can’t log back in again.

When you enable maintenance mode feature you will not be able to login via wp-admin.php file. You have to log in via wp-login.php only with admin privileges. However if you enable Rename Login Page under Brute Force tab you will have to enter the secret word to log into your admin panel.

    Kind regards

    That’s what I said. Stupid, isn’t it?

Other maintenance mode setups have a login box on the maintenance screen.

How did you try to log into your site? Did you type yoursite.com/wp-admin.php or yoursite.com/wp-login.php?
