  • You said you removed wp-login.php, that’s a required file. No wp-login.php, no login at all. If its missing than thats why your admin is not back after step 3.

    Put wp-login.php back and follow through with all steps I outlined in that thread to completely remove it. Including another post inside that thread about htaccess and wp-config. This is in addition to the main instructions.

    But you must put wp-login.php back.

    Thanks Viktor!

    I see now my confusion was with the alternate login, which I though I had changed from wp-admin to wp-login, which I confused with the file wp-login.php. I’m still a bit confused, but the problem is solved.

    I’m having the same issue here. I have spent the last 24 hours trying to resolve it.
    I reluctantly activated ithemes after I had been logged out 3 different occasions but had it fixed. Now I have deleted the .htaccess input leaving just the wordpress as stated by Viktor. The SSL issue is not found in the wp-config.php, but my $table_prefix = ‘abc31p_’; which is different from wp_’;

    The only thing I haven’t done is disable the plugins because I understand it will not solve the issue permanently.
    What can I do now pls?
    Even if i delete the plugin, how can i get rid of it completely from my site?
    Thanks in advance for your help everyone. I find this embarrassing because I only just had it fixed and given back to me but with the plugin disabled.
