    Hi,
I have installed and activated the plugin which look great, unfortunately I am unable to log back in, where there is the exempt part of the set up what should I leave or remove to get back into the site with my domain name and /wp-admin.
i have to keep on deleting the plugin to try and work out what the problem is, but i really want to keep this plugin as the appearance is great.
i saw that someone else said that there was a log in on the page but has been removed since your latest upgrade. So if it has been removed, how do you get back into the site to work on it.
    Hoping for a positive result.

  • Hello,

You can’t access your login page (https://domain.com/wp-login.php) or you want to a link (on maintenance page) to Dashboard ? Thanks.

    Hi there,

Same for me, I can not login without changing the folder’s name with Filezila to crash it down.

Then, it works fine. And doesn’t again after reactivate the plugin.

    Cheers

PS. I use iThemes Security plugin that changes wp-admin/wp-logn to whatever you want.

    Hello 916VT,

If you changed the login url, then add that REQUEST_URI (see example) into Exclude list (from General tab) before you activate the plugin. Otherwise you won’t have access to it.

Example: if the url is: https://domain.com/new-login-url, then add: new-login-url as a new line in Exclude list.

    Hi George Jipa,

You’re right, it works perfectly fine now.

Thanks for your fast support and this great plugin !

    You’re welcome. Thanks!

    Hi George,

i tried what your said to 916VT, unfortunately it didn’t work for me.
    This is what I did.
After activating the plugin, I deactivated on the general screen and made my changes.
In the redirection field, I typed: https://www.funeraltraining.com.au
I removed all from exclude and put in the address:
    https://www.funeraltraining.com.au/wp-admin
then I made it active again.
    What am I doing wrong.

It works so well on another website I have.

    Hello Glenda C,

As I see your login url is now: https://www.funeraltraining.com.au/log/. Your exclude list should be:

    feed
    wp-login
    login
    wp-admin
    wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
    log

    Thanks! ??

    OH NO,
Thanks for that info but after deleting the plugin from FTP to enable me to get back into the backend, I can’t get the wordpress log in to come up. All I see is
    https://www.funeraltraining.com.au/log/

Are you able to tell me how to get into my site now?

    Hello,

You have cache activated ? Maybe it was cached. Rename cache plugin folder and see what happens.

This was marked as resolved by someone, but it is far from resolved. I can’t get back into my website, even after deleting the plugin through ftp.
    I have cleared the cache.
    I can’t see a cached folder.
Our time difference is about 8 hours, I am in Melbourne Australia so where are you and I will stay up to try to sort this problem out. I have done so much work with over 60 pages in the few days that I have been building this site. There is no backup yet for me to even go back to.
    I need help fast.
    Thanks

    Hello Glenda C,

Well there wasn’t a plugin issue (if you change the login url and you want to access it when the maintenance is activated… then you MUST add it to Exclude list), so please be patient.
Now I think you don’t have access to WP dashboard because of another plugin. Could be Profile Builder, so I recommend you to rename the folder because as I see, he also has some custom redirects for login / register and maybe you used them.

    Thanks!

Thank you, thank you. changing the name of Profile-builder-Pro to -1 on the end worked. Now that I am in the backend I have deactivated Profile Builders plugin until I need it.

I will only be using your plugin in the interim whilst i am building the site and then I will use the profile builder or something similar.

Thank you for being patient with me as well.
I was getting really worried that I would have to rebuild the entire site.
    Thanks again.

    You’re welcome. ??
