can’t log in

  • I can no longer log into my wordpress site.

    I tried changing my password in cpanel under phpmyadmin and for some reason, wordpress isn’t accepting my password.

    my server host thinks it’s a php script problem, but their servers were down and I think there’s a problem with the database.

    How do i fix this problem? I need to log into my admin panel and can’t right now.

    Maybe this what you already tried. I suggest trying again. I have done this myself and it always works, when you get the password encoded correctly – Did you select MD5 in the dropdown after you entered the new password?

    Yes, I already tried that option and it didn’t work at all. I even changed it to the md5 thing.

    This occurred after they were issues with my hosts server. They claim it’s a wordpress issue, but I think something may have happened to the database during the crash and they’re not telling me!
