Can’t log in

    I was helping a friend who had his site compromised. I installed WF for a temp fix while he gave me his hosting details. WF locked us out of the site. I cannot access the cpanel to rename the wf folders. Can anyone actually allow me to login to wordpress site. please.

    Sorry to hear that. There is nothing we can do from our end as the application is installed on your site and the block is coming from there. You’ll need to wait until you are not locked out anymore or get login via cPanel or FTP. If you are cleaning the site of malware, you’ll need cPanel and FTP access either way. Best of luck!

    As Asa said, you’ll need to wait for any pending blocks to clear (unless you have access via SSH/FTP/cPanel).

    If you’re still having issues with Wordfence, feel free to open a new thread!
