    HaCked by KmL!

Is what I see on your page, that seems scary!!!!!

It seems like some moron (KmL) replaced the index.php. The wp-functionality seems to be there, you’ll have to upload the index.php (and secure the server !).

Yeah, it is scary being hacked.

Would uploading the index.php file be the only thing i’d have to do, or is my wordpress and everythign on it lost forever?

I’ve been working on a new layout for my website too. This had to happen JUST NOW, huh?

    Change all your passwords.
And did you work online on that new layout? That would mean you left a lot of files writable… which means totally open to get hacked ??

No, I didn’t work on it online. I have no idea what could’ve caused my site to get hacked because I hadn’t touched anything on my site since early November.

I tried uploading index.php again and nothing happened.

Did you contact your host about it? Maybe it’s not your WP install but a wider server side issue.

It does not seem like you have uploaded the index.php. It has the old, hacked, file still there! Are you sure you uploaded to the right folder?

I tried but they haven’t gotten back to me at all yet. I’m hosted with netrillium.com and haven’t had any problems with them yet so i’m kind of surprised if it is a problem like that.

I had index.php saved on my computer. I uploaded it again and nothing changed at all.

In fact, when I view my index.php file through wordpress (yayy I found my password :D) it looks fine to me. I don’t see the hacked file anywhere.

Ok now I was able to do it but I get this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_header() in /home/lustless/public_html/index.php on line 6

    i’m confused.

Aren’t you mixing the 2 index files? In the root directory of WP there should be the “short and sweet” index (approx. 4-5 lines only) and there is the index file in your theme’s folder.

    yes, I have that.

    I can see your pages!!!!!
