Can't Link with-in post

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

It’s impossible that nothing has changed between yesterday and today and all of the sudden it has stopped working.

Have you tried deactivating all plugins and switching to a default bundled wordpress theme (twenty fourteen or earlier)?

I tried linking via text instead of visual and it works perfectly fine. What I meant was I did nothing to the blog to make any changes in my above post Evan, sorry for that confusion. However, that still doesn’t solve why I can’t link in visual as I normally do.

Did you try any of the steps I suggested above?

Well, a miracle must have happened because now it’s linking again and I didn’t do a thing. I guess all I can say is thanks mates for checking in and trying to help solve this so fast. Mr.CBB
