Can’t link to a certain website from WP

  • For some reason I can’t link to this website from within my WP site, but I can from a straight HTML page outside of my WP site. The URL is: https://etfdb.com/ The text of the link is “VettaFi” in the first sentence on the referenced post.

    Must be something simple I am missing. Any suggestions??

    What exactly do you mean by this?

    1) What exact steps do you take to link to this website?

    2) what happens when you take the above steps? Is there any error message or something? Can you share a screenshot of the said error message?

    For what it’s worth, I see a link to the said website in the first paragraph of the web page you provided.

    It’s just a regular link like any other. Please just try it on the page I posted.

    It’s created using the latest vers. of WP. It’s all pretty standard. Every other link on my my website works fine.

    the post header for that post overlaps the first couple of lines of the post content. If I remove this from your CSS (and it looks like it might be custom CSS) “margin-bottom:-1.5em?!important;” then things work.

    Hey great catch!.

    It is, because of some additional CSS I added. Ok I’ll probably restructure the paragraph.
