can’t leverage cache as suggested by pingdom

Pingdom gives me an F for the “leverage Browser Caching” category:

The following cacheable resources have a short freshness lifetime. Specify an expiration at least one week in the future for the following resources:https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans%3A400%2C300%2C600&ver=4.7
I have added a cache timeout rule in WP fastest cache:
“If url = https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans%3A400%2C300%2C600&ver=4.7, then 1 a month delete the files”
But this does not change pingdom’s grade when I retest the site after adding the rule, even though emptied cache first.
Am I using the timeout rule correctly?
