Can't integrate this plugin – what's wrong?

  • This is what happens when I try to activate the plugin:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function w3tc_button_link() in /data/21/3/14/122/3014611/user/3347242/htdocs/wordpress1/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/GenericAdminEnvironment.php on line 99

    What gives?

    any suggestion?

    I figured out!

    need to edit wp-config.php and make sure WP_CACHE and WPCACHEHOME defines are deleted, and remove the files wp-content/wp-cache-config.php and wp-content/advanced-cache.php if they exist
