Really hope someone can help me here please!

I have been trying to integrate my WooCommerce store to the Royal Mail Click and Drop service online. However when I enter my site URL I keep getting a 403 error saying “403 Forbidden. Access to this resource on the server is denied!”

My site and WooCommerce are all fully up to date and in line with the requirements Royal Mail specifies. I’ve tried disabling all plug-ins (the security ones more than once) and deleting my .htaccess file but nothing seems to work!

I am a bit confused by the API requirement; On this page it states API must be version 2.0 or higher at the bottom of the page. The only info I can seem to find about this is on my WooCommerce Status page where it says “WooCommerce REST API package: 1.0.7” so I thought this could be the problem but on trying to update my API discovered this doesn’t seem to be possible and API is integrated with the WordPress version etc. anyway? So I don’t quite get if the REST API package is the same as the version??

I’m at my wit’s end with this but would make life so much easier for me if I could just get it integrated. Thanks in advance.

I have found the solution myself! Should it ever be useful info to anyone on here: the problem was in fact the .htaccess file however I was silly enough to delete it but not create a new one when I first tested this as the issue so assumed it wasn’t the problem when it was. After creating a new .htaccess by saving changes in WordPress permalinks settings it started working like magic!
