    Hello,

When trying to connect my website page to the SiteKit plugin from Google, i am asked to login with Google account, after I do that & click on all the “trust” boxes, i am redirecting to a new page which gives me an error message (Bad Request: missing parameter: ‘code’) and I can’t click any further.

The URL of the page with the error message (after logging in with my Google account) is “https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/v2/site-management/setup/”

Can anyone help with that, i honestly just bought the premium version of WordPress to use SiteKit, so this is really frustrating.

    Thanks in advance!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there @yogawithgeraldine,

Sorry to hear of your frustration. I’m sure however, that we can determine the cause. In other reports of this users were setting up Site Kit using the Brave browser, which blocks AMP URLs. With AMP used during Site Kit setup, these errors are expected if you’re using the Brave browser with this default AMP redirection option enabled. The same can occur if you’re not using Brave but you are using a Chrome extension or other feature that blocks AMP URLS.

In your case can you share whether the same occurs during Site Kit set up if you using a Chrome browser incognito window?

If the same does occur when using Chrome as above please share your Site Health information and we can check this further.

Thanks so much James!! Using a different browser solved the problem (I had used the Brave Browser). Have a great day
