• I can’t intall plugins via the dashboard. This problem began with 3.2.1.

    Once I enter my ftp information, (To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please….) the system hangs up and all I see is a blank white page.

    I’ve tried changing permissions on my WP directories, or using ‘local host” in the host field (as suggested in earlier, closed topics) but to no avail.

    Thanks.

  • I have had the same thing just happen to one of my five sites. It makes no sense. Only this one will no longer allow me to install any additional plugins. Could it be that I have a corrupt file on the server?

    Sure would be nice is someone on this site could EVER know why this hapopens? I love the “check with your host” Obviously if THEY knew what the problem was it would be a problem would it. I have check these topics going back 3 years, and not ONE person could give an answer worth a crap.

    Is it possible ANYONE on this site knows anything about wordpress?

    @victomeyezr

    You may want to start a new thread for yourself and actually include a specific question, along with some details that might actually help someone who might try to assist you.

    a) Your current version of wordpress, and the exact error message you’re getting

    b) do you actually have a site at a hosting service, (if so, who is your host) or are you having issues with a wordpress install on a “server” you built yourself

    c) when was the last time it worked for you, and what if anything have you changed in between now and then, and has anything else recently seemed off (ever been hacked?)

    d) and lastly, have you bothered to check your ftp credentials ( as in, do they still work using and ftp client? ) or to see if your host has changed anything recently? If so, what was the outcome of those?
