Cant install plugin

  • Hi, I’m trying to install Woocommerce through my dashboard (as i don’t know how to do it manually) and it won’t install, it says its uploading then gets to 100% and takes me to a wordpress failure notice which says ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ Then underneath says ‘Please try again’

    Please assist!

  • If the auto install won’t work I think you’ll need to get to grips with the manual install. There is guidance here.

    The main steps are:
    – download the plugin to your hard drive
    – unzip it
    – use *ftp to copy the unzipped files to wp-content/plugins/woocommerce
    – login to the Dashboard. The plugin should appear in the list of plugins and can be activated from there.

    *I like the free version of FTP Commander as it will upload the lot in one click, but there are other programs that can do the job.
