When I reinstalled Jetpack on my judithevabarsi.com site and go to the big blue setup button, all it will say is “an error occurred. Please try again.” All my plugins are updated to their latest versions and my WordPress install is the latest version. Can anyone help me get jetpack to work, please?

    Hi @celia-n-foster

Right now your site is just showing the login screen, this may be why you’re having the issue connecting, as Jetpack needs to access your home page as well as other areas of your site to connect properly, for instance https://yourdomain.com/xmlrpc.php – this is a page needed by Jetpack to connect, but is also redirecting to the login page.

What needs to be done to fix it? I’d very much like to fix this.

    Hi @celia-n-foster

You would need to configure your website to allow access to the xmlrpc.php file. It seems that you have a plugin that is redirecting all requests to your site to a login page.

With the way your site is currently configured, Jetpack will fail to connect as it can’t log in and all requests are being redirected for non-logged-in users.

Once that is fixed, you should be able to install and connect Jetpack.

Thanks. I’m looking into getting this fixed with my hosting support.
