    Hi everyone,

I tried to install Facebook Members but plugin install failed and the message below appeared.

    “Destination folder already exists. /hsphere/local/home/emortalc/ocgstore.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/facebook-members/”

I don’t know why this happened because when I checked all of the plugins that I’ve installed, I couldn’t find Facebook Members.

Is there anyone who can help me out to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

Delete the folder and try uploading the plugin again.

I installed the Facebook Members before but when I was editing it, I somehow messed it up and suddenly started to not appearing on the “Plugins” page. Therefore, I tried to install the plugin again but I got this “Destination folder already exists. /hsphere/local/home/emortalc/ocgstore.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/facebook-members/” message.
It means Facebook Members is still in the system right?
However, my problem is that Facebook Members doesn’t appear on the plugins page, so I can’t delete it.
Would you please help me out??

    Hi tkm225,

    1) Go to your wordpress installation and /wp-content/plugins folder.
    2) Delete facebook-members folder
    3) Go to Plugins -> Add new
    4) Search for Facebook Members
    5) Select and install

I hope it will help you.

    Hi Mr.Shah,

Thank you very much for your response.
I’m trying to find the /wp-content/plugins folder but I can’t find it.
Does this folder saved in my PC or is it kind of folder that I can access through internet?

It is on your server where you installed your wordpress. Access it via your hosts control panel or via FTP and in the root directory (or where you installed wordpress) and go to folder wp-content/plugins.
All the plugins are in that folder. Find the folder for the plugin you want and rename it or delete it. Check the site, it should recover once the plugin is deleted. You can then reinstall.
