Can't insert Name or email and links can't be clicked

    Maybe I just don’t know how to ask. I was hoping this is a common issue, but I did not find any posts. I don’t know what happened today, but users can no longer post because they cannot get the cursor in the Name, email, or any text fields to enter information. The links cannot be clicked either. The menu still works though, so one can go to different pages. I have a feeling it’s a simple fix, but I just couldn’t find the answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    @esmi, I was hesitant to re-install anything. I thought there might be a setting that I may have triggered somehow. I did eventually re-upload wp-includes, wp-admin, then twentyten theme, in that order. I tested the site after each upload and no luck, then I went to my plug-in section to check again. I thought I had deactivated all the plug-in’s before, but apparently I missed the Google Adsense one. When I did deactivate that one, the site started to work. I don’t quite understand it. It was one of the very first plug-in I installed.
