Can't insert images into posts

  • I can’t insert images into a new post
    I’m using the Oxygen theme
    The insert media dialog works fine, and when I click “Insert into Post,” the dialog box closes normally, but the image is not inserted.
    I already tried re-installing the latest version of wordpress
    I’m also having the same issue in IE (vs Chrome)
    This is the first time I am trying to post on a self hosted blog. I previously had a wordpress.com blog under the same name and imported all my posts from there. The images from my old posts are still there.
    I can set featured images without any problems.

  • Try deactivating all plugins, delete inactive ones, revert to Twenty Eleven theme and try again. Resetting your permalinks may also help sometimes.
