Can’t insert images as Media Library doesn’t show off

  • Hi,
    just finished writing my first blog in Gutenberg. Inserting image block worked fine, but it just offers me to upload or to insert an URL. The media library doesn’t show off. Unfortunately I need older pictures which are in the library… and the newsletter is going out at 3pm.
    Acc. to a 4-month old topic, it sounds like it’s a theme problem (SimpleMag by WPZoom). It’s just hard to believe as I never had problem in the last years…

    try troubleshooting with health check plugin to rule out plugin or theme issue/conflict

    I am having a similar issue. When I click add, then click the word image. I then should be able to access the media library but the option is not available. I can see the option to choose Upload or insert from URL but there is not a media library option to choose from.
    I did download the Health Check & Troubleshooting plug-in and it informed me that something is causing a disconnect to my media library. Then after digging I found that there was a “crawl anomaly” on some URLs. What is causing this issue and how do I ensure that my media library can be accessed by Gutenberg or any other plugin? I
