    no

    Who is your Host?

    bluehost

They are a great Hosting company. Can you get in contact with Bluehost and ask them where is the root of your website. It should be something like public_html or similar.

Yeah. I’m talking to them now. It is public_html. I just don’t see an .htaccess file…

Did you save your permalink settings in WordPress? Most recommend /%postname%/.

I increased to wordpress memory to 356mb via bluehost, but it still isn’t working. If it helps, I can give you my login info and you can look at it yourself??? I’m so frustrated…

    256, not 356

Can you carry out the following, deactivate all your plugins and only leave this one active. Now try to add another image and save? If that does not work try to test a WordPress default theme like Twenty Fourteen and see if you can add another image.

I just did that, still no good.

I suspect that the issue might be coming from your sever settings. You will have to get in contact with Bluehost. Explain to them the issue you are having. They might even look at the server logs.

One more question did you end up enabling debug mode in your wp-config.php file?

    Thread Starter alipaca

    (@alipaca)

I never found the file and the bluest guy was worthless.

    Please read the following URL.

In your root folder as mentioned above, you should see a wp-config.php file along with all your wordpress files. You need to edit that file. Follow the instructions in the URL above.

Sorry my mistake please verify the file is wp-config.php.

    Sorry about that.

Ok. I made the change. What should I do next?

Now, carry out the same routine as above by adding another image to the slideshow and saving it. Are there any errors displayed? Have you also checked your server error log files?
