Can't insert Gallery to Page

Please make sure that the stated chosen gallery is published, since if unpublished you will receive the stated error. Thank you.

I am also having this problem ‘There is no gallery selected or the gallery was deleted.’

I doubled checked the gallery is published. I tried adding multiple shortcode references to my page. I changed the theme to a default generic theme (was using customizr originally).
I checked file rights, image access rights. I tried upload to the default folder, and a created subfolder. all fail the same way.

Any other suggestions?

I have found/fixed my problem. The shortcode generator does not select a gallery by default.
It creates
[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”3″ gal_title=”Select Gallery”]

When I changed the gallery at the time of creation to one that exists, such as:

[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”6″ gal_title=”Flash Art b”]

a stumbling block to be sure. Hope this helps someone else!
