    Hi,

    Congratulations for your plugin.

I find only one defect : it cant take into terms the character ‘ (apostrophe in French) in the words.

So i cant indicate a term such as “d’Angers” for example. Could you see this point?

    Cordially

    Hello,

I tried to reproduce this problem, but with no success.
I created the term “d’Angers” from your example and added this word to the post. And plugin converted it to link.

Could you provide any additional information about this problem, please?

    Hello Vladimir,
I stayed as follows: added a post with the text “Angers and Rome”:

    https://italissimo.org/articles/brouillon-auto-3

the use of “term description” is not disabled for this post.

    In terms description:

Addition of a term “Angers” which points to the post

Added a term “Rome” which points to another post.

The term “d’Angers” is not converted into a link. The term “Rome” is well converted.

My site is in French with WordPress 6.1.1. The “terms” plugin is in version 3.4.3.

The 3 “parser” options have been tested. Without success.

    – Single parser
    – Simple parser with quotes support
    – Long terms first parser Orders terms by their lengths before searching them in text

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

    1) You wrote that you added “Angers” and “Rome” terms. Did you add “d’Angers” term?

    2) If you remove apostrophe from “d’Angers” (d’Angers -> dAngers) and add dAngers to the post content, will the the link appears?

    3) What are the options settings?
    – Convert the first N occurrences of each term.
    – Maximum transformations number
    – Consider existing links

    Good evening

    my answers :

1°/ Yes I added the term “d’Angers” in terms.

2°/ If I create the term “Angers” without the “d'” the link is created on the word “Angers”.

If I create the term “dAngers” without the “‘” the link is created on the word “dAngers”.

the apostrophe “‘” seems to be in question…

    3° / the options are

    – Convert the first N occurrences of each term = 1
    – Maximum transformations number = -1
    – Consider existing links = not checked

    Good evening,

my apologies for a slow response.

I have tested terms with thee types of apostrophes – ‘, ‘, ’, but everything works as expected. Could you send me the term with apostrophe from the database (table td_terms) and a post that contains word with apostrophe (table wp_popsts)?
