Can't import Twitter replies

I have the same problem since Twitter API V1.1 update. I followed forum instructions, without results. I have open a ticket support since one month, but no helps.

Hi Cavor, could you please point me to the forum instructions you mentioned? I’d like to give it a try too.

Anybody else who had this problem but found a solution? Thanks!

Thanks for the 2nd link Cavor! It made me check if my plugin was the latest version. After updating, my test reply was imported to my blog.

The import wasn’t immediate, but at least it’s working now.

I have this problem too. The twitter import stopped after twitter removed support for V1 api.

Looking at the code of the plugin they have not yet updated the code for twitter import as it still refers to v1 api.

I’m sure they will get this fixed at some stage but in the mean time I am using twitter mentions for comments plugin. That pulls the comments in ok but sadly does not pull in the profile image. But it’s a quick and easy fix for importing twitter mentions.

kevin heath The problem was fixed and everything was updated to API 1.1 in the version 2.7.17. Profile image is being correctly pulled as well. Version 2.7.17 was already out at the time you wrote your message. Please upgrade the plugin.

thanks for letting me know – there was no changelog with the 2.7.17 update.

I’ll switch the twitter replies back on and hopefully everything will work again.

Sadly the 1.1 api just is not as responsive as the old api.

When I try to manualy import Twitter comments, I have these errors :
