Can`t Import Product

  • Hi
    I tried to import my product, I downloaded the excel table from GitHub
    Then I filled my product in the table and saved it in .csv and UTF-8 format
    I also changed my shop’s timezone to UTC-8
    Then I imported it on woocommerce, but it didn’t work and the following warning appeared:

    Empty file or using encoding other than UTF-8, try again with a new file.

    Then I delete the product that I have filled in the excel file, then I copy the sample product on Github, then I save it as before, then I import it again, but it doesn’t work again and a warning appears like before

    Why?

    This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Before you start

    1. First, please make sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. Most hosting companies have this included in the subscription, but you could also consider using a service like?Jetpack. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site.
    2. Second, I would suggest installing a plugin called?Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

    Sorry beforehand, do I have to write the product in excel like this, or like this?
    Should I write the product using commas? or can I add more tables?

    I would like to let you know that you could use either of both ways. However, I will recommend you to use the first example that you shared with us, so your data is easier to read and more friendly when doing quick modifications.

    The number of tables that you can add are only the ones that are shown on the Column Mapping when Importing Products throughout the WooCommerce Core plugin.

    you could use either of both ways

    I have tried using the first method, and when I import a warning appears that the file I imported is empty
    However, when I imported the file in the second method, it worked

    But I prefer to use the first method because it’s easier, but WooCommerce says that the file is empty
    Why?

    Have you tried opening the .csv file in Google Sheets or Excel next to a sample .csv file and comparing the formatting?

    Also, are you seeing any related error logs in WooCommerce > Status > Logs?

    It’s hard to say what’s happening with the current amount of information so please head to WooCommerce > Status, copy the System Status Report, and paste it here.

    Finally, could you please confirm that this issue persists after following the steps that I shared with you on my first response to see if this is happening due to a conflict with your theme or with another plugin?

    I imported the product using the left file but it didn’t work, and I imported the rightist file and it worked. However, I prefer to use the left file
    Did I fail to import the left files because I deleted some unnecessary ones? Like “Download expiry days”, I deleted the text and did not fill it in because there is no need

    I have disabled all plugins and I have switched to the Storefront theme but the problem still persists
