Hi, I have been running Weather Station on a development environment for 2 months and have already been busy collecting data. It’s going fantastic. After exporting all websites from DEV to PROD, I wanted to export the WS data from DEV to PROD. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work as I expected. The exported ND-JSON file cannot be uploaded to PROD at all, WS expects only files from the ws-server. But the file on the server is connected to the DEV environment.

What can I do? It would be a shame if the data were lost and I could no longer use it in the productive environment.

Thx for any answer! Greetings Lencer

  • Hello @lencer !

Sorry to hear that… Ca you tell me exactly what is the error (symptom, error code, message, etc.) you get when importing?

Hi Pierre, thx for your fast reply. I will try to discribe the problem exactly as I can.

    1. I export the ND-JSOM-File from my DEV-System.
    2. I open import screen on the PROD System, but I cant select any file in the source selection field. It is deactivated. There is no error code or anything else.

I use Weather Station 3.8.9 in WP 5.4.2

If necessary, I can also grant you temporary access to the system.

PS: Is it possible, that this is a PHP Problem? I use actualy an older 7.1 version. I have neglected an update so far.

PHP isn’t the Problem. Now I use PHP 7.3.20.

To import files you have to upload it via the Weather Station file manager first, then it will be available in the import section of the station ??

Hi Pierre, it works! Many thx for your help. I’m over the moon.

If you are planning a new version, a small hint on the import page might be helpful for other users. And as a german user i have a tiny little hint. “Herzlich Wil_l_kommen” with two “l” on the dashboard.

    Greetings Lencer

    Ah, that’s good news ??

Regarding the german translation, you can contact Chris on the official Weather Station support site… I think he can help ??

If you like the plugin, don’t hesitate to make a review.

Hi, thanks for noticing. That typo should be gone now ??
