    @kapara – It could be “smart” quotes around the parameter … try show_slideshow_link=0 instead.

    great that the questions was here. I faced exactly the same issue with quotes and had it solved.

    @davydov-denis – Good to read … a trick to keep in mind when inserting shortcodes (especially those that use quotes with their parameters) is to use the “Text” tab of the TinyMCE editor as this will help to ensure no “smart” quotes are accidentally inserted into the shortcode.

    Also, in most cases, if there is only a single value for the parameter being used then you can skip using the quotes for that parameter.
