Cant hide customize header and background sub menu items

update – tried it with 2015 theme – same result

I have the same issue. Customize header and background still appear in Appearance.

Does hiding anything work for you guys? It doesn’t for me.

The customizer url is dynamically, not so easy in the current construct. I have it on the issue list for one of the next versions.

I have implemented a solution for this problem, it would be nice, if your tested and give feedback. The current dev version have it included and should be use for the tests.
