Can’t hide a sidebar

    Hello,
    I hae created a small website for a travel blog. I use a Child theme of twenty- sixteen.The last months Content Aware Sidebar works very fine on the site. But now I’ve tried to erase a sidebar and to create a new one. But now the two sidebars are shown – even when I hide or erase the old one. I’ve tried to update without success- I’m not a pro – but what can I do? Tell me, if you need further information to resolve the problem

    Thank you for reporting this.

    When you say erase, do you mean you put the previously created sidebar into Trash?
    How many custom sidebars do you have on your site?

    Hello, thanks for your answer.
    Firstly: I have resolved my problem in doing a backup from a week earlier to the problem.
    Second: I had sent the custom sidebar to trash. I have 14 sidebars at all – only one of them had this problem.
