Thank you for a great plugin, just what I was looking for.

I have successfully created a group and displayed it on my page with the short code.
Then I made another set of FAQ group. However, whatever I do, I can’t seem to display this group anywhere. I tried displaying the first group on other pages and it is fine.
I even changed the name of the group with no success.

Any idea why this would happen?
    Thanks!

    Hi Vedat,

Thank you for using my plugin and for the kind words. Can you reply with the shortcode that is working and the one that isn’t?

    Thanks!

    Hi John.
    The one that works is:
    [faq orderby="menu_order" order="ASC" group="support" style="accordion"]

    The one that doesn’t work:
    [faq orderby="menu_order" order="ASC" group="main" style="accordion"]

    cheers

    Hi Vedat,

Possibly a foolish question, but for the shortcode that isn’t working, can you try the following and see if anything is displayed?

    [faq group="main"]

    John, it’s still not displaying.
I even tried deleting the other shortcode and just had this one on the page.

I’m stumped… the only reason nothing would be showing up for that group would be because no FAQ’s are assigned to that FAQ group. If you go to the FAQ group screen, can you delete and re-add that “main” group, then reassign the FAQ’s to it?

I am not quite sure how I go about deleting the “main” group?
Do you mean to delete all the posts assigned to that group and re-create the posts?

No, if you go to the faq group screen you can delete the group. Go to FAQ -> Groups. Then mouse over the “main” group and you’ll see a context menu show up beneath it. Click the delete link. Then go back to the FAQ’s that were assigned to the main group previously and reassign them.

    OK, I got it working!
It seems like the group “main”, got a slug as “main-2”. Maybe somewhere along the line 2 groups were made with the same name momentarily, and this one was assigned this slug? Dunno.

And the other thing is, I had a group called “FAQ”, but the slug was “faq”. I wouldn’t have imagined this to be case sensitive, but it is!

Thanks for all the help for sorting this out.

    Cheers

    Vedat
