Can’t get to work except for checkout

Hi I don’t know what I am doing wrong but I can’t get the plugin to work how I want it to and how I think it’s supposed to I’m just not savvy enough to set up correctly. I have a firearms business and sell ammunition, guns, knives and accessories. What I’m looking for is to have each category have an age required to buy merchandise in that category. Knives 18, Guns and ammo 21, t-shirts no requirement and so on. I have the categories setup that way, ammo 21, knives 18 accessories no age but it just isn’t working for me. Anyone can view the site without verifying age is how I want it but no matter the item a person can’t check out unless they say their age = 21 or older. That’s a problem for me with someone that doesn’t need to be 21 to purchase a certain item. I’m sure it’s me doing something wrong but I have no clue how to fix it. Please help Phil
