• I recently updated to the latest wordpress version on my website (I have 3 sites in the same domain). Now I have a problem in one of my subsites, I can’t get to the admin page. I try to login & it doesn’t forward me to the admin page. Any idea of how to fix this? Thanks

    Where does it forward to?

Once you log in, what happens if you go to the wp-admin page?

Have you turned off the plugins?

It just forwards to a blank page, like it doesn’t find the admin page.

I can’t go to the admin page because it seems it doesn’t find it.

I didn’t turn off the plugins, should I? how do I do it?

    Thanks

Go in via FTP and rename the plugins folder to plugins-old

Blank pages is a PHP error, often caused by a plugin or theme gone silly.

    Try changing the theme.

You can force change it in the network admin section, or if this is the only site using that theme, just remove the folder and your site will switch back to twenty eleven.

I have the same problem, but on my local computer which I have WP installed. I upgraded to the latest WP version 3.4.1 and now I cannot access my admin page (show a blank page). I can see all my sites locally. I have tried renaming my plugins folder to plugins-old, renaming my themes to themes-old, accessing the data ‘Phpmyadmin’ database and changing the wp_options tables active_plugins to a:{}, but I am still see getting blank page.

    Please help someone!!!!!

Managed to restore the WP version I had before & get to the admin page. HOwever, is this gonna be a difficulty in the future? Meaning, do I have to have the latest WP version for everything to work? Let me know. Thanks

Generally it’s not a problem (I upgrade all the time, testing stuff and I’ve never run into that one).

When it does crop up, it’s often due to a miss-match with URLs, like you have https://www.domain.com and domain.com as your home and site URLs.
