    Hi

I have been setting up gamipress on our site and am finding that a number of the add-ons don’t seem to work – links and multimedia. Links have nothing happening, and multimedia recognizes when I load a file, but not when someone watches a video from the media library

After reading the other threads, I tried the advice of using a standard WP theme (twenty 15, twenty 12 etc) but I have the same issue on them all making me think it has nothing to do with the themes.

Am I missing something simple? any help?

    Hi @mmsagary

GamiPress – Link add-on will detect clicks on links generated through the [gamipress_link] shortcode

Please, check the GamiPress – Link add-on FAQ section to meet all attributes supported by this shortcode and also we setup on this section a small tutorial about how to make the plugin work with custom elements

For GamiPress – Multimedia Content events will be triggered just for videos (and audios) played through the WordPress built-in player

Videos from third party sources (youtube, vimeo, etc) won’t work

Thanks – I really appreciate your help.

The link makes sense – and now works. However, the video is not working. I am using the WP [video..] code for a video (mp4) in my media library..and see points added for uploading the video, but none for watching the same.

Is there some specific I need to use in the [video] shortcode? ie not auto, not preload etc?

    Hi @mmsagary

More than compatibility with the [video] shortcode we build support to the WordPress built-in player (that is the player you see on videos placed through the [video] shortcode)

If you installed a plugin that places a custom player then this could conflict with our add-on

    Best regards
