Can't get theming to work.

This KB looks pretty nice, and I’m about to ditch a KB I paid for, but after installing, I can’t get the template files to do anything. I see the WP Knowledgbase folder in my theme, but if I edit the files, nothing takes. This should be pretty basic, so not sure what I’m doing wrong.
