Okay – here’s another kink I have to work out before I fully launch this calendar.

Without having an impact on my regular post comments, how do I stop it from saying “COMMENTS” and then a little smaller under that “comments” in my events? Seems there’s no box I can tick to get rid of it. I can’t find it in the editor, either, but it’s confusing where to look.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

as suggested on the other topic, try to check for conflicts. One more thing, how are you embedding the calendar? Are you using the super widget?

    Thanks for your response.

I’m using the super widget for the sidebar and embed code for the page because I want one calendar category in its own page, eventually. It is also having issues with my social share buttons, as in agenda view they are a part of every event, yet they all register for any page shares – they do not seem to be tied to any particular event.

Another weird thing is when I click “read more” on an event in the widget, it doesn’t take me to that specific event but to the whole calendar page, UNLESS I click directly on the event in the widget and not the pop-up “read more” button. I think that will confuse users.

I’m at work now and don’t have all the time I need to check for conflicts, but I’m not running too many widgets I can disable and I’m kind of dependent on my theme. It’s going to be tough if those are the reasons and I suspecting the them may be part of it. But magazine basic is very common, right?

    Thanks,
    Seth

Since you said this is a conflict i’ll close this…anyway this bug is related to the fact that you are using the SuperWidget i think
