  • Same thing is happening to me :(. The original settings was something like 200 x 900 and my files are 350 x 435 (made sure in Image Library) and although I’ve changed setttings, deleted Meteor and re-installed it, for the life of my I can’t get this to change. Someone please help!

Same problem here! It takes random sizes :/

    EDIT

Problem Solved! Thanks to this post

Basically what you have to do is:

    • Set the dimensions of the slide
    • Delete the images that doesn’t work
    • Upload those images again
    • And that’s it!

@rox-1 It’s possible there was a theme or plugin conflict causing issues, but it looks like you found another solution?

@olga1 Did you get it figured out? Can you post a link?

    Hi

have the same problem! I deleted the first two images of my slide (it was 23 so I wanted to try it out in just a few first) and uploaded and added them again, but they are still shown in the size 900×200, even though I put the setting to 950×634.

This bug has been going for a while, it would be great if you could find a fix for it!

    Cheers,

Hi Vanesa, this isn’t a bug, the slideshow is setup to crop slide images that are too large for the slideshow dimensions to prevent users from accidentally adding a very large image to a slide and breaking a slideshow.

The slideshow will scale to fit the latest slide, so you want to make sure to re-upload that first slide image in particular.

But you will get the best results if you measure the space you are putting the slideshow in, set the slideshow dimensions to match that space, and upload slide images that match the slideshow dimensions.
