can't get the meta box 'file' type to work. nothing being uploaded

SuperCPT doesn’t currently have a built-in “file” type. See https://github.com/mboynes/super-cpt/wiki/Super_Custom_Post_Meta-Reference#fields for a list of field types that are currently supported. When you set it to “file” it becomes an HTML “file” input type, and SuperCPT gives you all the necessary hooks to do what you need to with it; it’s just not included at this time.

It is currently in development and will be a part of the next release.
