Cant get the downloads to work

okay let me see if i can explain better.
after the transaction has been completed, from where do i download the files? because after paying and returning from paypal i get redirected to the succes page, which only displays the purchase receipt but no download links I know i’m missing something but i dont know what, I’m using the paypal sandbox account i dont know if that can be the cause of the problem.

I saw the videos already but none of them explains about the links or do they came live in the same posts?

Does your success page have the [edd_receipt] short code on it?

Did you receive the emailed purchase receipt?

You can set up an account page to show a purchase history by using the [purchase_history] short code.

I reinstall the plugin and i noticed that it doesn’t make the pages anymore the new version is 4.1.1 .
I did had those pages and the shortcodes too but no downloads links And i didn’t receive the purchase emails do i have to put the [downloads] short code on the success page to get the download link.

Did you delete the pages before reinstalling (no need to do that if you did)?

You know what yes I did. its a matter of fact I’m trying to get an early version so it can make the pages again or if you can tell me the names of the pages and what shortcodes to include and for the downloads i was reading coments on the basic configurations and one person already ask you about it and i think i know what to do (I hope)

Here’s what you need to do to create the pages:

1. Create a page called “Checkout” (the name doesn’t matter) and palce [download_checkout] in its content.

2. Create a page called “Purchase Confirmation” (or other name) and place [edd_receipt] in its content.

3. Create a page called “Failed Transaction” and place anything you want in its content.

4. Go to Downloads > Settings and select the newly created pages.
