• Hi,
I am a new user of wordpress.
I am using the theme: Responsive (By ThemeID, Version 1.6.9). There is a “hello world” nice page that I would like to use as a front/main page for all my posts.

However, what ever I do, I still see the hello world page!
    This is the link: https://www.websitecommentsblog.com/commenting-system/
I want it to be in the main page but to be able to change the “hello world ” things..
    does anyone have an idea?
    Thanks!
    Eli

  • Perhaps you need to have a look at creating a static front page?

I’ve noticed the same problem – each time I set:

POSTS PAGE : BLOG (or whatever the blog/news page is called)
it just displays the “hello world!” page that comes with that theme.

    However, if I set:
Front page : HOME (or whatever your home page is)
    and then leave:
    POSTS PAGE : —SELECT—
the correct home and blog pages display automatically.

A work around that does work, but definitely one that I’m not entirely comfortable with as the final solution!
