Can't get rid of Archives widget

  • I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme. Here is the page in question:

    I have a separate blog page where I display my posts. On that page there is data in the sidebar. I say “data” because none of the selections actually work. I cannot locate the source for this information but want to delete it. The archive menu doesn’t display on any other page.

    I just added a widget to the sidebar and the archive display disappeared. I didn’t necessarily want a sidebar but it’s better than it was.
