Max memory can be configured higher than 256, that is just the default. It may be the case that your hosting plan only allows 256 in which case you may be out of luck.

What happens when you click “Debug”?

Wayne: thanks. I talked to my hosting provider, Ipage, and they increased the pho and upped the max on an email post to 64mb and that did the thrice.

    Excellent

I have message from Google for that plugin:

    Hi xxxxxx,
Google just blocked someone from signing into your Google Account [email protected] from an app that may put your account at risk.
    Less secure app
Monday, August 14, 2017 5:24 AM (United Kingdom Time)
    Newcastle upon Tyne, UK*
    Don’t recognize this activity?
If you didn’t recently receive an error while trying to access a Google service, like Gmail, from a non-Google application, someone may have your password.

Are you the one who tried signing in?
Google will continue to block sign-in attempts from the app you’re using because it has known security problems or is out of date. You can continue to use this app by allowing access to less secure apps, but this may leave your account vulnerable.

…so set off your secure setting by clicking the button in that email

    regards

@edoescad in the future please start your own support thread as your issue is likely different.

Please look at https://postieplugin.com/postie-gmail/ especially the section on “Less secure apps”
