Can't get post to accept simple coding

  • I have created a post as a draft. I am trying to insert a half box with the coding [box_half] some text then [/box_half] but it just keeps showing up in the preview as text including the coding. I know this is simple. I’ve even done it before, but it;s not taking.

  • The [box_half] code isn’t built into WordPress itself — it’s coming from some theme or plugin. So the first thing to check is whether you have whichever plugin you were using before enabled.
