Can’t get plugins to work after install

    Hello,

    New to WP. Tried to install two plugins, Flashfader and Gengo. They both install and show-up to be activated, but once activated I get a host of errors as noted below. As these are the first I’ve tried, they’re no other plug-ins to cause computability problems–only tried them one at a time. These both seem to be ok with other WP 2.2 users, so it seems something on the sever side? I’ve made sure of full read/write access of everything in the WP folder. Any ideas, and/or questions I should ask my host?

    Flashfader:

    I’ve got the Ultimate Category Excluder plugin to work fine, so know plugins are working, but something’s wrong with those (like noted above) requiring more complex installations? Look forward to ideas on how I may be able to get Flashfader and Gengo up and running too.

    The issue was, not surprisingly, another set of write privileges I needed to assign to a directory on the a server, not associated with the WP installation.
