• I used bluehost to install WordPress yesterday, but I have no idea how to log in to the dashboard. When I go to …com/wp-admin/ and the login appears, I don’t know what do since I never set anything up! I tried the login I use for this site, and tried “lost password” and put in my email but it says the email isn’t on file. Is this something I do through my hosting or through www.remarpro.com, or something else I’m missing? The “lost password” help on this site isn’t that helpful because as far as I know I don’t even have a username.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Well, luckily I’m impatient, and decided to reinstall everything manually and got to the dashboard.

If you used Simple Scripts to install it, then it will send you an email with your login information. Otherwise, you can always re-install it again and, on the last page of the Simple Scripts installation, where it shows the successful install, it will list your login information there temporarily.

bh_WP_fan… id just like to say a Hugh thanks for sorting out login problems after changing url address on a previous post. your advice sorted out what my hosting company couldn’t or wouldn’t do!! thank you my friend, brilliant advice and very thoughtful!!!
