I’ve been using BetterDocs for a few years and I recently migrated my site to a new URL. I’m not sure if that’s causing the problem or not, but the BetterDocs menu in the admin area only shows the “Quick Setup” submenu. When I go through the Quick Setup steps, after I click on the “Finish” button I get sent to https://www.example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=betterdocs-settings&saved=true and get a 403 error: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

I checked my WordPress logs and got these error messages:

[17-Nov-2022 17:24:39 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key "name" in /home/username/public_html/wp-content/plugins/betterdocs/admin/setup-wizard/inc/class-betterdocs-setup-wizard.php on line 210
[17-Nov-2022 17:24:39 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key "name" in /home/username/public_html/wp-content/plugins/betterdocs/admin/setup-wizard/inc/class-betterdocs-setup-wizard.php on line 212
[17-Nov-2022 17:24:39 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key "url" in /home/username/public_html/wp-content/plugins/betterdocs/admin/setup-wizard/inc/class-betterdocs-setup-wizard.php on line 215

Any idea what’s causing it? All my Docs are still accessible but I can’t edit them or create new ones.

    Hi @kylegilman ,
    Hope you are doing well.

We are really sorry to hear about the issue you are facing with. Will you please tell me which version of PHP are you using on your website? The PHP version should be at least 7.4 or above. After updating the PHP version, if that doesn’t resolve your issue then please uninstall, delete the BetterDocs plugin and then install, and activate it again.

Let me know how it goes.
    Thank you.

Thanks, I am running PHP version 8.0.25. I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling but it didn’t help. I’m still getting the same error.

It wasn’t resolved but I was hoping to do some more troubleshooting on my server to see if I could get to the bottom of it. I still suspect it’s something I did when I changed my domain.

    Hello @kylegilman,

I am really sorry to hear that you are still getting this error. Can you please confirm that you are using the latest version and still getting the same issue? You can also flush your Permalink settings from your WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks -> Post Names now click on Save Settings.
