    When I try to access Wordfence it puts up a modal dialog requiring me to review the privacy policy. Clicking on the “review” button does nothing, and the modal dialog cannot be dismissed. You guys have managed to brick the Wordfence interface.

    Hi @voiceguy, thank-you for your query regarding this issue.

    Are you running WordPress 5.5? To just further expand on the steps you’ve already taken, it may have been due to a recent jQuery Migrate deprecation in WordPress 5.5 that hasn’t been rectified in one of your other plugins.

    It may help to install the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin below to see if the issue is resolved:

    If the above doesn’t fix the issue, disable all plugins other than Wordfence to see if you’re able to confirm the installation. If so, reactivate your other plugins one by one to see if any further issues with Wordfence arise. To do so I recommend the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin which allows you to disable all plugins and switch to a default theme, but only for your user to prevent downtime for other site visitors.

    The Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin identified the problem as a third-party theme. I switched to the Twenty Twenty theme and was able to get past the modal dialog. Now I have to work with the theme author to fix the problem.
