Can’t Get Password E-mailed

    Hi all –

    Just installed wp 2.7 – this is a fresh install, have never done this before.

    Had to do it twice because of something on my hosting side, however, after second install, I can see I have a blog up and running. However, when I use the password assigned during the first install, I cannot Log In – says it’s incorrect. Asked for it to be e-mailed (several times) and do not receive it. (no new password was “offered” by wp during 2nd install).

    Help???

    Reinstalled everything and generated a new password.

    I just became a WordPress user through godaddy.com. When informed that I needed a WordPress Account, I entered my information to register, but never received a password at my email account. I had to reregiter under a new username and use my gmail account to get a password in order to write this forum letter. I am looking to get an API key and fear I need to do that through my appropriate username. Am I writing to the correct place here?
